National Pie Day
Think this is an easy one, though the big decision will be sweet or savory .....
And the winner is savory, Shepard's Pie, mainly coz it was wet and cold and I had it pretty much made :) So happy National Pie Day but don't worry there is another one coming up on Dec 01 and of course Pi Day in March there is a good chance that one if not both of these will be sweet ones..
And just in case you are wondering today is the more popular of the pie days and is sponsored by the American Pie Council since1986, however according to Wikipedia, the holiday was started in the mid 1970's by Boulder, Colorado teacher Charlie Papazain when he declared his birthday would be National Pie Day.
Perhaps when this is all over I will declare a National Holiday for something, though not sure there is anything not celebrated !!!!
